Octillion to supply high-density batteries to FNM for 1,000 electric trucks for beverage maker Ambev

Battery maker Octillion Power Systems will supply advanced lithium-ion batteries to Brazilian manufacturer FNM (Fábrica Nacional de Mobilidades) for the production of 1,000 electric trucks for beverage maker Ambev. FNM opened its EV factory inside Agrale’s manufacturing facility in Caxias do Sul city in southeast Brazil.

OXIS Energy to supply solid-state Li-S batteries for trials and testing by this fall; 600 Wh/kg and 900 Wh/L by 2026

With an identical manufacturing process to conventional Li-S and Li-ion, the delivery of the Quasi Solid-State batteries is achievable by late Autumn 2021, the company claims.
