Octillion becomes official battery supplier for FNM electric trucks in Brazil

Li-ion battery provider Octillion Power Systems is working with the reborn FNM (now Fábrica Nacional de Mobilidades) in Brazil to produce battery-electric trucks; FNM has selected Octillion as the official battery supplier for the coming lineup. FNM was founded in 1942 and was the first truck manufacturer in Brazil.

BP forming 50:50 biofuels JV with Bunge in Brazil; growing existing biofuels business >50%

BP will combine its Brazilian biofuels and biopower businesses with that of Bunge to create a world-scale, highly-efficient producer of sugarcane ethanol in Brazil: BP Bunge Bioenergia. Brazil is the world’s second-largest and most integrated market for ethanol as a transportation fuel with demand forecast to grow rapidly.
