The Carbon Trust ‘Carbon Measured’ label validates the accuracy of these measurements and provides customers with independently reviewed information about the carbon impact of their purchase.

Alstom and MOL, Hungary’s leading oil and gas company, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to structure cooperation in examining the use of hydrogen technology in rail transportation. Alstom’s hydrogen technology has also been purchased by SNCF (France) and FNM (Italy). Operating these trains requires hydrogen refueling stations.

The BMW Group will begin sourcing aluminum produced using solar electricity with immediate effect. Generating the electricity needed to produce primary aluminum, i.e. aluminum obtained directly from the mineral compound alumina, is alone responsible for about 60% of the global aluminum industry’s greenhouse gas emissions.
