USC team develops highly efficient catalyst system for converting CO2 to methanol; 79% yield from CO2 captured from air

In a paper published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society , they reported demonstrating for the first time that CO 2 captured from air can be directly converted to CH 3 OH in 79% yield using the new homogeneous catalytic system. They recycled the catalyst over five runs without significant loss of activity (turnover number > 2000).

Porsche 914 EV Conversion

I broke 2000 miles with the 914 EV this week. If the 12V battery is dead, you need a small 12V battery (9V would probably work) to activate the DC-DC converter relay to bootstrap the 12V charging process. I topped off its water to increase its storage capacity a bit. The car has been running smoothly with no complaints.
