South Dakota School of Mines & Technology vying to establish international center for solid-state batteries

Smirnova and research scientist Dr. Abu Md “Numan” Numan-Al-Mobin are leading the grant proposal to NSF for the establishment of the Center for Green Solid-State Electric Power Generation and Storage (CEPS). Each university received $15,000 of the planning grant. NSF will evaluate CEPS’ progress during the conference this week.
