T&E: Denmark, Luxembourg, Netherlands lead deployments of zero-emission buses in Europe

In Sweden, Norway and Finland, respectively 26%, 24%, and 23% of urban buses registered in 2019 were zero-emission (electric or hydrogen). In 2019, less than 10% of their newly-registered urban buses were electric or hydrogen. However, Germany is now financing 80% of the higher purchase cost of e-buses.

BloombergNEF forecasts green hydrogen should be cheaper than natural gas by 2050 in some markets; falling costs of solar PV key

In a new piece of research, BloombergNEF (BNEF) finds that the levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH 2 ) made from renewable electricity is set to fall faster than it previously estimated. These countries accounted for one-third of global GDP in 2019. Such low renewable hydrogen costs could completely rewrite the energy map.

Consumer Reports analysis finds EV owners spending half as much on maintenance compared to owners of gas-powered vehicles

Consumer Reports (CR) analyzed its 2019 and 2020 reliability survey data for many thousands of electric and gas-powered vehicles, and found that drivers of electric vehicles are saving an average of 50% on maintenance and repair over the life of a vehicle compared to owners of gas-powered vehicles.
