Valence Technology receives $12M purchase order from Wrightbus for Li-ion batteries

has received a purchase order valued at $12 million from Wrightbus, for lithium iron magnesium phosphate batteries to be delivered through 2015. FedEx Express fleet exceeds 2020 fuel improvement goal of 20%; sets new goal of 30% improvement compared to 2005

FedEx Express has exceeded its original goal of a 20% improvement in global vehicle fleet fuel economy by 2020, as compared to 2005, with a more than 22% cumulative improvement in fuel economy for its vehicles. FedEx Ground is currently testing hybrid hydraulic parcel delivery vehicles on local delivery routes across the US.
