EEA report finds most Europeans in cities still exposed to levels of air pollution exceeding WHO guidelines

The European Environment Agency’s (EEA’s) “ Air quality in Europe — 2019 report ” shows that almost all Europeans living in cities are still exposed to air pollution levels that exceed the health-based air quality guidelines (AQGs) set by the World Health Organization (WHO). About 374,000 of those deaths occurred in the European Union (EU).

Toshiba delivers mobile 30 kW hydrogen fuel-cell system to fuel-cell ship

The system complies with the safety guidelines formulated by MLIT (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan). NREG TOSHIBA BUILDING Corporation and TUMSAT, as part of a joint research project, began demonstration tests of the fuel cell ship Raicho N with Toshiba’s 3.5kW hydrogen fuel cell system in October 2016.

Opel to begin publishing WLTP fuel consumption numbers in Q2 2016; improving SCR for NOx reductions

Beginning in Q2 2016, and in addition to the official fuel consumption and CO 2 information, Opel will start publishing fuel consumption numbers recorded under the WLTP cycle, starting with the new Astra. Toshiba integrates fuel cell system into 14m experimental boat
