'Komatsu America Corp. introduced its new HB215LC-2 hybrid hydraulic excavator. This third-generation model is based on iterations of Komatsu hybrid experience; Komatsu was the first in the industry to introduce a hybrid excavator in 2008. ( Earlier post.) Since then, the company has sold more than 2,500 hybrid excavators worldwide.
