DOE releases draft guidance for Clean Hydrogen Production Standard (CHPS)

The US Department of Energy (DOE) released draft guidance for a Clean Hydrogen Production Standard (CHPS), developed to meet the requirements of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), Section 40315. The CHPS is not a regulatory standard, and DOE may not necessarily require future funded activities to achieve the standard. However, hydrogen hubs funded in support of the BIL ( earlier post ) will be required to “demonstrably aid achievement” of the CHPS by mitigating emissions across the supply

GM backs standards "eliminating tailpipe pollution" from passenger vehicles by 2035

General Motors and the Environmental Defense Fund earlier this week announced jointly-developed recommendations aimed at making all new passenger vehicles electric by the middle of the next decade. Faraday Future confirms 381-mile EPA range for FF 91, arrival still uncertain

Faraday Future has confirmed an official EPA range of 381 miles for at least one version of its FF 91 electric SUV, although production timing is still uncertain. The 381-mile rating applies to the FF 91 Futurist model, the company said in a press release. Faraday also confirmed to Green Car Reports that the rating is for models with a 142-kwh.
