Infinium utilizes waste CO 2 and hydrogen, which are converted to synthetic gas using Infinium’s proprietary, patented CO2Cat catalyst. The synthetic gas is then fed through a second reactor and proprietary production step to convert synthesis gas directly into liquid fuels.

BMW Group commences in-house production of fuel cell systems for BMW iX5 Hydrogen in Munich

BMW has begun fuel cell system production at the company’s competence center for hydrogen in Munich. The two companies have been collaborating on fuel cell drive systems since 2013. The pressure plate forms a gas-tight and water-tight seal around the stack housing.

BMW investing €400M in new vehicle assembly at Munich plant as part of shift to electromobility; engine production being concentrated at Steyr and Hams Hall

The BMW Group is speeding up the shift towards electromobility and strengthening its global network for production of electrified vehicles. The new assembly in Munich will be built on the site currently used for engine production. By the end of 2022, each of our German plants will be producing at least one fully electric vehicle.

GM reduced energy intensity and carbon intensity per vehicle in 2013
