The Mayor of London has indicated that the impact of auxiliary engines could be included in future air quality monitoring in London. The written answer from the Mayor: The next edition of the London Atmospheric Emission Inventory (with a base year of 2013) is nearing completion for publication later this year.

They Tesla cars will replace internal combustion engine vehicles, reducing air pollution in London. As per Amber , about 3,600 to 4,100 premature deaths in London are attributed to air pollution every year. However, levels of air pollution in London are still too high for many people.

The Board of Transport for London (TfL) approved a production order for up to 600 of New Bus for London vehicles over the next four years. Ballard Power Systems signed an agreement with Transport for London (TfL) to extend the operation of eight hydrogen fuel cell buses in London for five more years. TfL first began operation of the first five fuel cell buses in 2010 as part of its publicly stated goal to reduce CO 2 emissions 60% from the 1990 level, by 2025.

Electric vehicle charging networks Source London and Source East have entered a roaming agreement enabling the members (annual £10 fee) of each to use the other’s charge points free of charge and have access to around 940 charge points throughout London and the east of England. In Lewisham, a district in the southeast of London, a Mercedes-Benz Econic 1838 4x2 with an electric tipper and crusher body has recently been put into service. Lewisham Town Council bought its first Econic in 2013. Around 40 Econics are used in the narrow streets of this London borough.
