CARB Executive Order certifies Toyota’s heavy-duty fuel cell electric powertrain kit as a Zero-Emission Powertrain (ZEP)

EIB awards €17M to QEV to advance zero emissions transport in developing countries

E-mobility and R&D specialist QEV Technologies will receive €17 million from the European Investment Bank (EIB) for a variety of low-carbon transportation projects. By the end of 2019, QEV will supply a further 100 e-kits to GET in Manila as part of its global plans to produce around 10,000 e-kits per year, following the EIB investment.

KIT spin-off producing synthetic natural gas from green hydrogen and CO2 from sewage sludge

Chemical reactor company INERATEC , a spinoff of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), and the Spanish company GAS NATURAL FENOSA have built a plant in Spain that produces synthetic natural gas from CO 2 and renewable hydrogen. The renewable gas can be stored in the existing gas infrastructure and transported to areas all over Spain.
