National Electric Vehicle Sweden halts production while it sorts out financing

H2@Scale project launched in Texas; renewable hydrogen for multiple end-use applications

The team will assess available resources, prospective hydrogen users, and delivery infrastructure, such as existing pipelines that supply hydrogen to refineries. The project partners will generate zero-carbon hydrogen onsite via electrolysis with solar and wind power and reformation of renewable natural gas from a Texas landfill.

Chalmers study finds ship exhaust gas scrubbers responsible for up to 9% of certain hazardous emissions into Baltic Sea

European Parliament calls for international ban on heavy fuel oil in Arctic

The European Parliament is calling for an international ban on the use and carriage of heavy fuel oil on vessels operating in the Arctic, like that which is to apply to the Antarctic from August 2011. Research suggests that about one fifth of the world’s undiscovered hydrocarbon resources may lie in this region.
