The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed new CO 2 standards for coal and natural gas-fired power plants. Through 2042, EPA estimates the net climate and health benefits of the standards on new gas and existing coal-fired power plants are up to $85 billion.

Under the emerging J2954 guidelines, communications for wireless charging will use DSRC. The SAE Taskforce on wireless charging and positioning of electric vehicles (SAE J2954) ( earlier post ) is progressing, and is slated to have a final draft of the guideline this year, according to the Society of Automotive Engineers, International (SAE).
