PACCAR will work with Cummins to offer the new Cummins X15N natural gas engine ( earlier post ) in Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks. The X15N is the first natural gas engine to be designed specifically for heavy-duty truck applications with up to 500 horsepower output. The engine will include the integration of the Cummins Clean Fuel Technologies fuel delivery system.

(SoCalGas) is working with Ford Motor Company on a demonstration project to reduce commercial fleet emissions by developing a F-550 Super Duty Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Truck. Vancouver-based Ceylon Graphite Corp. announced the renewal of the Industrial Mining Licence for the Malsiripura, M1 mining project in Sri Lanka (known as Ceylon until 1972) from the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau (GSMB). The Licence grants exclusive rights to mine graphite from within the M1 mining area. With the M1 permit in hand, the company expects to be hoisting graphite after the shaft has been deepened by twenty feet and crosscut to a parallel vein system.
