The concept is supported by the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. The concept is based on the use of replaceable battery containers, to be known as “ZESPacks”. To make it easier for barge operators to sign-on to the concept, a ‘pay-per-use’ financing model has been developed.

Lightning eMotors has been named as the powertrain provider for an all-electric motorhome concept—the e-RV—under development by Winnebago Industries’ Advanced Technology Group (ATG). The concept version of the Winnebago Industries e-RV is the first all-electric motorhome designed by a major RV manufacturer.

Rice University researchers have created an efficient, low-cost device that splits water to produce hydrogen fuel. The current flows to the catalysts that turn water into hydrogen and oxygen, with a sunlight-to-hydrogen efficiency as high as 6.7%. The concept is broadly similar to an artificial leaf. The ZF EVbeat concept vehicle is based on a Porsche Taycan and takes leading series technology from ZF and other market players as a benchmark.
