Germany awarding €600M to transport companies for zero- and low-emission buses

Germany is awarding some €600 million to transport companies for the purchase of climate friendly buses. Around 1,400 are battery-electric; 150 fuel cell; 50 overhead line; and 100 gas buses. Eight companies received their funding notices on Thursday: KVG Kieler Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH: 50 battery buses.

BMW plant brings electrically heated ring hearth furnace into operation

at the BMW Group site in Dingolfing is operating an electrically heated ring hearth furnace. Compared with its conventional gas-powered equivalent, the latest electric furnace currently saves some 300 tonnes of CO 2 a year. Range Energy’s RA electrified trailer platform now eligible for up to $80k in California incentives

Range Energy announced that its 53-foot electric trailer, the RA, is now eligible for point-of-sale incentives up to $80,000/unit through the California Air Resources Board Clean Off-Road Equipment (CORE) Voucher Program. The RA platform is the first trailer electrification platform to be eligible for the CORE incentive.
