Berlin receives 90 electric Solaris buses; BVG Solaris electric fleet totals 123

This was one of the biggest contracts for battery-powered buses in Europe and the largest one for the manufacturer in Germany so far. Berlin now has a total of 123 electric Solaris buses in its fleet. In June 2019, the public transport operator from Berlin ordered 90 12-meter Urbino 12 buses.

Glencore’s Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations (INO) has ordered a full fleet of Epiroc battery-electric equipment for use at the Onaping Depth Project in Ontario, Canada. Traditionally, mining machines are diesel-powered, though more and more mining companies are adding battery-electric machines to their fleets.

Mitsubishi Fuso to begin series production of fuel-cell trucks by late 2020s; concept eCanter F-CELL

The Vision F-CELL delivers 135 kW of motor power, supplied by a 75 kW fuel cell and a 135 kW high-voltage battery. As part of Daimler AG, MFTBC is committed to the Paris Climate Agreement.

Porsche commissions MAN electric eTruck for green logistics at Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen

The electric 32-tonne truck will soon enhance the commercial vehicle fleet that Porsche uses for its production logistics in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. The battery-powered eTruck is a MAN eTGM 18.360 4x2 LL. As at all Porsche charging stations, the vehicle is charged using natural power, i.e. green energy from renewable sources.
