Container ship to test running on Synthetic Natural Gas, provided by Audi

MAN Energy Solutions and Wessels Marine GmbH announced a technical showcase whereby the 2017-retrofitted Wes Amelie , a 1,036-TEU feeder container ship, will use liquefied SNG (Synthetic Natural Gas) produced from renewable electrical energy as drop-in fuel. As a result, CO 2 emissions are expected to decline by 56 tons for this trip.

ITF launches global initiative to decarbonize transport

Ninth annual Green Innovation Index finds California light-duty vehicle emissions spike; major challenge to 2030 climate goals
