IC Bus announces availability of over-the-air programming for school buses

IC Bus announced that over-the-air (OTA) programming of engine control modules (ECM) will be made available for IC Bus models powered by Navistar proprietary engines and, going forward, by Cummins engines. For new IC Bus school buses powered by Cummins engines, OTA will be available in January 2017.

Connecting the adapter with a smartphone means that connectivity services are no longer solely reserved to customers buying new cars.
