GM expands access of OnStar Vehicle Insights telematics solution to non-GM vehicles

OnStar Vehicle Insights can now be used with most non-GM vehicles via a plug-in adapter. The OnStar Vehicle Insights Fleet Adapter, created by GM’s Global Innovation team, plugs into the OBD-II port of non-GM vehicles, as well as GM vehicles built without OnStar hardware and model year 2014 or older GM vehicles.

New GM SDK gives developers access to 350+ simulated GM vehicle data signals

GM introducing US/Canada version of 2013 Chevrolet Spark at LA Auto Show

GM will introduce the 2013 Chevrolet Spark minicar at the Los Angeles International Auto Show. 2L features technologies such as dual continuous variable cam phasing, electronically controlled thermostat and low-friction engine oil. GM details 2016 Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid powertrain design and operation
