BMW fitting all gasoline and PHEV models in Germany with particulate filters for Euro 6d-TEMP compliance

As of July 2018, all BMW gasoline and plug-in hybrid models available in Germany will be fitted as standard with a gasoline particulate filter (GPF) and thus will comply with the exhaust standard Euro 6d-TEMP. This test is now mandatory for all newly registered passenger cars (for vans with commercial use there will be other timelines).

JRC report finds electric vehicles in Europe on the way to full-scale commercialization

The European Union appears to be undergoing a transition from the testing of and experimentation with electric vehicles to full-scale EV commercialization, according to a new report from the EU’s Joint Research Center (JRC). Tesla Model 3 is Australia’s best-selling car

If we count the Toyota HiLux and Ford Ranger as the light commercial pickups they are, the best-selling car in Australia in 2023 so far is the Tesla Model 3. Battery electric, PHEV and hybrid sales combined made up a solid 12 per cent of January’s total market with 10,426 sales. Tesla reduced the price of its Model 3 earlier in 2023.
