DOE awards $4M to carbon capture and storage projects selected as part of ACT

First Corri-Door fast charging points put into service; 200 targeted in France by end of year

The first two fast charging points for electric vehicles in France’s Corri-Door project are now operational at the Bosgouet Nord (A13) and Tardenois Nord (A4) motorway service stations operated by SANEF. With the Corri-Door project, 200 new fast charging points will be rolled out across France by December 2015.

EC approves second major battery innovation project; €2.9B (US$3.5B) from 12 member states

The project, called “European Battery Innovation” (EuBatIn) was jointly prepared and notified by Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden. In 2018, the Commission adopted the Strategic Action Plan for Batteries and has promoted a wide range of initiatives as part of the plan.
