Porsche has produced its first complete housing for an electric drive using 3D printing. —Falk Heilfort, Project Manager in the Powertrain Advance Development department at the Porsche Development Center in Weissach. The downstream two-speed gearbox is integrated in the same housing as the electric motor.

According to Autocar , work is already well underway to reinvent the AMG GT four-door coupe to morph it into more of a rival for the Porsche Taycan Turbo S or Tesla Model S Plaid – except the AMG product is set to be even quicker, and possibly more fun to drive.
