Thriev , a company offering zero-emission, chauffeured cars to corporate and private users in London, is adding 20. BYD e6 electric cars to the fleet. Last month, the Mayor of London announced that from 1 January 2018, all new taxis would have to be zero-emission capable in order to gain an operating licence.

Suzuki Motor Corporation nd Intelligent Energy jointly unveiled the Suzuki Burgman Fuel Cell Scooter ( earlier post ) in London’s Living Room, City Hall, London. These will be extended to controlled fleet tests in cities such as London, where zero emission vehicles such as a fuel cell scooter have the greatest initial potential.

The halfway stage has been reached in the three-year fleet trial of the Fuso Canter Eco Hybrid in the London area. Since August 2008, ten light-duty trucks equipped with hybrid drive systems have clocked around 265,000 km (164,663 miles) in eight fleets operated by customers. The Qantas Group, which has committed to using 10% SAF in its overall fuel mix by 2030, is sourcing SAF overseas, including 15% of its fuel use out of London currently and 20 million liters each year for flights from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Australia from 2025.
