This year the Government of Moscow plans to buy 500 additional electric buses. Moscow stopped buying diesel buses for the surface public transport operator in 2021. Electric buses were launched in the Moscow in 2018. Most of them will be purchased with the funds from the green bonds.

Metropole Rennes to buy 92 electric Mercedes-Benz eCitaro buses

The Metropole Rennes has signed a declaration of intention to buy 92 Mercedes-Benz eCitaro fully electric city buses. Mercedes-Benz introduced the eCitaro in 2018 with fully-electric drive. The planned order consists of 59 articulated and 33 solo buses. They are due to be delivered between 2022 and 2025.

Harvard buys four Proterra electric buses

In 2018, Harvard set a goal to eliminate the use of fossil fuels on its campus by 2050 and to achieve fossil fuel-neutrality by 2026. The shuttles will be charged during off-peak overnight hours when demand for electricity is typically lower using 150 kW charging stations located at 28 Travis St. in Allston.
