GM posts 2016 delivery record in China; 3.87M vehicles, more than 1/3 of global sales

General Motors and its joint ventures delivered a record 3,870,587 vehicles in China in 2016, which was an increase of 7.1% For comparison, GM brands reported retail sales in the US of 2,446,582 vehicles for CY 2016. Chevrolet deliveries, after a rebound starting in the third quarter, reached 525,273 units in 2016.

Toshiba delivers mobile 30 kW hydrogen fuel-cell system to fuel-cell ship

The system produces less noise compared to standard ship engines, and it starts generating power in one minute at the shortest. The system complies with the safety guidelines formulated by MLIT (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan). The trials will be followed with further investigations.
