PowerCell Sweden AB and Hitachi ABB Power Grids have signed an agreement regarding an in-depth collaboration around fuel cell based stationary power solutions. In June last year, PowerCell Sweden and Hitachi ABB Power Grids signed a memorandum of understanding regarding a collaboration around fuel cell-based stationary power solutions.

RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden), and Chalmers University of Technology have now begun , with support from the Swedish government, the establishment of a Swedish testbed for electromobility. In 2017, RISE and Chalmers University of Technology were tasked by the Swedish government with creating a testbed for electromobility.

The ELDRIVET project in Sweden is investigating new cooling and testing methods to improve the performance and lifespan of electric motors and power electronics. As part of the work, an analysis of alternative materials in power transistors is being carried out. The university taking part is Lund University’s Faculty of Engineering.

Researchers at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, have developed a small, optical nano-sensor for pollution detection which can be mounted onto an ordinary streetlight.
