Torqeedo GmbH announced a new battery option for its Deep Blue series of marine electric drives: Deep Blue Battery 80. The new battery was unveiled at the Electric & Hybrid Marine World Expo in Amsterdam, Netherlands. LFP is now even being used in electric cars, including standard-range Teslas.

ABS grants Alfa Laval the marine industry’s first approval in principle (AIP) for firing boilers with methanol

Yongsoo OWC pilot plant in Korea is being prepared to produce green hydrogen

The water depth ranges from 15 meters to 60 meters and is constructed to test different types of devices. The Yongsoo plant is a 500 kW fixed oscillating water column (OWC)-type wave energy converter. From next year, green hydrogen will be produced offshore using marine energy power.
