Rear-wheel drive, more range and faster charging for fully electric Volvo C40 and XC40 models

As part of a new package of product updates, Volvo Cars has improved both the range (WLTP) and charging for the all-electric XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge compared with the outgoing model year, increasing range by as much as 60 kilometers on some variants. Exterior updates also help to improve efficiency where possible.

Velozzi Will Use Capstone Microturbines in Supercar and Crossover Extended Range Electric Vehicles

Velozzi, a Los Angeles-based car designer and manufacturer, will integrate Capstone Turbine’s C65 and C30 microturbines into its electric supercar and a crossover vehicle, respectively. According to Velozzi, the cars will operate on 100% battery power in zero-emissions mode for a range of up to 200 miles.
