Cummins fuel cell technology powers Coradia iLint fleet in Germany

Cummins is powering the world’s first fleet of hydrogen trains in Bremervörde, Lower Saxony, Germany. The Coradia iLint trains were developed by Alstom as an alternative to conventional diesel trains. Cummins and Alstom successfully launched the very first hydrogen-powered Coradia iLint train in Germany in 2018.

BMW testing HVO100 renewable diesel for parts delivery in Germany

BMW is testing the use of renewable HVO100 renewable diesel for parts delivery in Germany. HVO100 (100%, or neat, renewable diesel) is made from various waste products, residues and renewable raw materials, including used cooking oil. Compared with fossil diesel, it produces up to 90% less CO 2 well-to-wheel.

Converted hydrogen fuel cell refuse vehicle on trial in Ruhr region as part of HECTOR

Shell to build one of Europe’s biggest biofuels facilities for SAF and renewable diesel; 820,000 tonnes/year

Audi presents latest SQ5 TDI diesel; 48V MHEV & electric compressor

Audi has introduced the latest version of the SQ5 TDI diesel. The SQ5 TDI was first introduced in the fall of 2012 as the first Audi S model powered by a diesel engine. Two SCR catalytic converters interact: the exhaust gas aftertreatment. Its base price is €68,137.82 (US$80,600) (in Germany, including 16% value-added tax).
