Albert Heijn and Eneco—a producer and supplier of natural gas, electricity and heat—will be working together on the installation of rapid charging stations at Albert Heijn stores in the Netherlands and Belgium. By 2025, Albert Heijn will have at least 2,000 charging connections.

Wärtsilä hybrid propulsion system with methanol engine to power four SAL heavy lift vessels; wind farm installations

The vessels have been contracted by SAL Heavy Lift GmbH, a German heavy lift and project cargo specialist and part of the Harren Group, in cooperation with its joint-venture partner, Netherlands-based Jumbo Shipping. They will also be the first methanol capable ships to employ a variable speed main engine in a hybrid installation.
