City of San Francisco replacing petroleum diesel with renewable diesel by the end of the year

Lee announced that the city will phase out the use of petroleum diesel in the municipal fleet and replace it with renewable diesel by the end of this year. Using renewable diesel also reduces the emissions of soot and other air quality pollutants. Renewable diesel is not the same as biodiesel.

GE and Clean Energy Fuels Partner to expand LNG refueling infrastructure in US for trucks; new MicroLNG plants

GE and Clean Energy Fuels are collaborating to expand the infrastructure for natural gas transportation in the United States. As part of the collaboration, Clean Energy Fuels will initially purchase two MicroLNG plants from GE Oil & Gas. GE’s MicroLNG plant can liquefy natural gas at any point along a gas distribution network.
