BMW to produce next-gen e-drives at Steyr engine plant; more than 600k units per year

HyMethShip seeks to fuel ship engines with hydrogen from methanol

The EU-funded HyMethShip project developed a system that innovatively combined a membrane reactor, a CO 2 capture system, a storage system for CO 2 and methanol as well as a hydrogen-fueled combustion engine to power ships. Alstom reports successful 1.5y trial operation of Coradia iLint fuel cell trains, next project phase begins

Scania adds 13-liter biodiesel engines to its Euro 6 range

Torque and power curves for the 490 hp biodiesel engine. Scania is introducing two Euro 6-certified, 13-liter truck engines that can run on any diesel blend, right up to 100% biodiesel (EN 14214). Output declines a maximum of 8% when the engines are run on 100% biodiesel fuel (due to the lower energy content in biodiesel).
