Fuji Heavy Industries to change company name to Subaru Corporation

Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., the manufacturer of Subaru vehicles, will change its company name to Subaru Corporation with effect from 1 April 2017 (tentatively). The FHI Board of Directors also resolved to integrate the company’s Industrial Products Company with the Subaru automotive business with effect from 1 October 2016.
