Ford researchers: global light-duty CO2 regulatory targets broadly consistent with 450 ppm stabilization

Broadly, the Ford team found that new light-duty vehicle fuel economy and CO 2 regulations in the US through 2025 and in the EU through 2020 are consistent with the CO 2 glide paths. 50% ethanol by volume since 2007. For the EU, the glide path is at the upper end of the discussed 2025 EU range of 68–78 g CO 2 /km. —Winkler et al.
