Austrian bus company signs framework agreement for up to 106 Solaris battery-electric and hydrogen buses

Austrian bus company Österreichische Postbus AG (ÖBB Postbus) has signed another framework agreement with Solaris for the delivery of up to 106 battery-electric and hydrogen buses that would be deployed throughout Austria. The models offered include Urbino 9 LE electric and Urbino 12 hydrogen buses.

Solaris to supply two hydrogen buses to Transdev in Sweden

Operator Transdev has signed a contract with Solaris Bus & Coach to supply two hydrogen buses. Solaris Urbino CNG (in yellow and red), operating X-Trafik Gävle—the hydrogen buses in Sandviken will have the same look. The Urbino 12 hydrogen buses are fueled with power generated by a 70 kW fuel cell.

Vienna testing Solaris hydrogen bus

Wiener Linien, one of the biggest public transport operators in Europe, has added a hydrogen Solaris bus ( earlier post ) to its fleet for testing until 12 June. Since the première of the hydrogen bus in June last year, Solaris has been awarded orders from the Netherlands, Germany and Italy for 57 buses in total.
