LA Metro to purchase up to 25 new BYD electric buses as part of $30M pilot project

LCA results from the 34 tested cars show that battery-electric vehicles are ahead in reducing greenhouse gases with 40‑50% less emissions compared to conventional gasoline cars, depending on the model chosen. These numbers lie between the values of a large electric SUV and a conventional gasoline- or diesel-powered counterpart.

ATT Becomes Lead Customer for Ford Transit Connect Electric Vans

Azure Dynamics Corporation announced that AT&T has agreed to purchase two of the first Ford Transit Connect Electric vans. The vehicle, which goes on sale later this year, has a range of up to 80 miles (129 km) on a single charge and will be rechargeable using either 240-volt or standard 120-volt outlets.

Consumer Electronics Assn Study Finds 40% of American Adults Likely to Test Drive an EV
