Proved reserves of natural gas in the United States grew to a new record of 625.4 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) in 2021, a 32% increase from 2020, according to the US Energy Information Administration’s (EIA’s) recently released Proved Reserves of Crude Oil and Natural Gas in the United States, Year-End 2021 report. US proved reserves had previously decreased 4% in 2020 as a response to prices that fell with decreased consumption during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Electrify America on Monday announced plans to install EV fast-charging stations at TravelCenters of America (TA) locations beginning later this year. An agreement between the two companies calls for approximately 1,000 individual chargers at 200 sites along major highways to be installed over five years, according to an Electrify America press.

Israel-based EVR Motors has signed an agreement with RSB Group, one of India’s Tier-1 automotive suppliers. The agreement with RSB is EVR’s fourth commercial agreement in India signed during the past eight months. Other agreements are in place with Badve Group, Napino, and, most recently, EKA Mobility. Each of the partners is in various phases of setting up production lines to provide electric motors based on EVR’s proprietary electric motor topology.
It does appear that Tesla is steadily making progress in the development and upcoming production of the Cybertruck. POSCO Chemical can now use its cathode manufacturing technology, a national core technology, in its overseas production bases. Emirates has operated a demonstration flight on a Boeing 777-300ER, powering one of its engines 100% with Neste’s Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
