Terex introduces all-electric bucket truck; 9 initial utility customers

Terex Utilities introduced the industry’s first all-electric bucket truck at the Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference (EUFMC) in Williamsburg, Va. during the Drive-Thru Demonstrations. In addition, the company also announced the first nine customers which will receive these new Terex Optima 55 ft aerial devices, powered by the HyPower SmartPTO by Viatec and mounted on an International Class 6/7 Medium Duty electric chassis.

High-mpg Hyundai Ioniq plug-in and hybrid versions are going away, as Ioniq goes all-EV

With production due to end in South Korea in July, hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions of the Hyundai Ioniq hatchback will soon be discontinued, Hyundai Motor Company confirmed on Monday. In the U.S., the Hyundai Ioniq Electric was discontinued after the 2021 model year. While the hybrid and plug-in hybrid remained available for the 2022 model.

EIA: record US natural gas demand this winter led to largest storage withdrawal in four years
