Rheinmetall logs €250M order for electric vacuum pumps for PHEVs

Rheinmetall Automotive AG, part of technology group Rheinmetall AG, has received a major order from an international OEM for electrical vacuum pumps. The pumps will be installed in plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) in the Chinese plants of the customer. The order extends to a lifetime volume of €250 million.
