In the first quarter of 2011, approximately 550 demonstration Volts will be delivered to Chevy dealers. We know the best way to experience the Volt is to get behind the wheel and drive it.

Participating Chevrolet dealers in seven key launch markets across Canada have begun taking orders for the all-new 2012 Chevrolet Volt, with an MSRP starting at C$41,545 (US$43,568). By the end of the year, more than 2,500 US dealers will receive a dedicated Volt demo.

This was hinted at in a recent memo sent to dealers about the company’s Ford Courtesy Transportation Program (FCTP), which provides demo units to dealerships. The memo, which was shared with Teslarati by the F-150 Lightning Forum team, indicated that dealers would be receiving one Lightning all-electric pickup truck starting mid-May.
