Audi introducing V2I Traffic Light Information service in Europe

Audi is introducing the vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) service “Traffic Light Information” in Europe. From July, Audi will network new models with the traffic lights in Ingolstadt/Germany; further European cities will follow from 2020 onwards. With the Traffic Light Information function, drivers are more in control.

5GAA hosts C-V2X connected vehicle demo in Berlin

NXP and DLR collaborate on quantum computing technologies in Germany

Volkswagen and Siemens partnering on traffic light V2X tests using WLANp in Wolfsburg

Ford choses Valencia, Spain plant for next-gen EV architecture

German alliance develops new active matrix LED headlights; 1,024 individually controllable light points

A German research alliance has developed the basis for smart, high-resolution active matrix LED headlights, which takes adaptive forward lighting to a new dimension. Both headlights contain three LED light sources, each with 1,024 individually controllable light points. This allows the driver to see these vehicles more clearly.
