Colorado approves goal to make 82% of car sales electric by 2032

Colorado has voted to approve a new standard on the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs), with an additional goal set for 2032 and new guidance for increasing EV sales beginning in 2027. Notably, the release says that the standard does not prohibit the sale or use of non-electric vehicles with internal combustion engines (ICEs).

Tesla Model 3 price cuts puts new car cheaper than some used Model 3s

The recent price cuts enable buyers to purchase a base Model 3 for $43,990, and with the EV tax credit, that price is further reduced. 7,500 EV Tax credit to that of a 2020 base Model 3 priced at $38,600. The lowest prices for used Tesla Model 3s in Austin were in the $35,000 and $36,000 ranges for 2019 base Model 3s.

Colorado Governor issues Executive Order supporting transition to ZEVs

NY state launces series of initiatives to encourage adoption of EVs

Report: CCS capacity increased 33% in 2020

The Global CCS Status Report shows: The CCS facility pipeline continued to grow three years in a row, with global capture and storage capacity nearly doubling within three years and increasing by 33% since 2019. Almost 40 million tonnes of carbon dioxide are being captured annually from 26 commercial CCS facilities currently in operation.
