Volkswagen customers in Germany ordering more diesel vehicles; share of 43% in 2018, vs. 39% in 2017

In 2018, the share of incoming orders for vehicles equipped with the latest diesel technology as a proportion of the overall vehicle portfolio was 43% compared to 39% in 2017. Demand for diesel cars was particularly strong among private customers, where the share almost doubled from 15% in 2017 to 27% last year.

Québec awarding US$4.6M to advanced biofuel project carried out jointly by BioÉnergie La Tuque, Neste, and the Council of the Atikamekw Nation

California ARB posts final modifications for ZEV rule on fast refueling/battery exchange for public comment

For Model Year 2009 through 2017, a vehicle will be considered a Type III, Type IV or Type V ZEV if it has the capability to accumulate at least 95 miles of UDDS range in 10 minutes or less; at least 190 miles of UDDS range in 15 minutes or less; or 285 miles of UDDS range in 15 minutes or less, respectively. 2015-2017: 4 to 9.

Volkswagen Group expands presence in Russia with agreements with GAZ

The diesel engines, which fulfill all legal requirements and the applicable emissions standards, will be integrated in the new GAZelle NEXT family, which includes drop-side trucks, full-metal vans and minibuses.
