Aerial methane survey finds a fraction of point sources responsible for more than a third of California’s methane emissions

An aerial methane survey conducted by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), California Energy Commission (CEC) and NASA has found that just 10% of the point sources were responsible for 60% of the total methane emissions detected.
