Evonik has also its own global lithium-ion research center in Shanghai. The company’s materials are already used in products from leading Chinese battery manufacturers.

Daimler takes 12% stake in Chinese parter BAIC Motor; first non-Chinese automotive company to acquire an interest in a Chinese OEM
