TRUE US database shows emissions characteristics of US fleet

To complement its work on real-world emissions in Europe, TRUE has compiled remote sensing data from the states of Colorado and Virginia and the University of Denver to investigate the emissions of US light-duty vehicles. Average fuel-specific NO emissions of gasoline light-duty vehicles and light-duty trucks per model year and vehicle age.

Ford researchers: global light-duty CO2 regulatory targets broadly consistent with 450 ppm stabilization

In the study, the Ford team derived regional CO 2 targets for new LDVs while still providing an integrated view of the global LDV fleet—a perspective critical to the planning needs for global automotive firms. To achieve 450 ppm, WTW LDV CO 2 emissions decrease 25% from 2000 and 34% between 2010 and 2050.

California state fleet reduces petroleum consumption 13% compared to 2003

The California state fleet has reduced its petroleum consumption by 13% compared to a 2003 baseline, according to a state progress report.
