Hyundai XCIENT fuel cell fleet in Switzerland logged 5M km in 2 years

Hyundai Motor Company announced that its fleet of XCIENT Fuel Cell heavy-duty trucks in Switzerland has accumulated more than 5 million km in two years. Its seven large hydrogen tanks offer a combined storage capacity of around 31 kg of fuel, while a 72-kWh-powered set of three batteries supports the performance.

Stadler wins contracts for up to 120 battery-powered trains, 25 hydrogen trains

Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) has awarded Stadler a framework agreement for up to 120 battery-powered trains. This will make Stadler the first train manufacturer in the world to supply narrow-gauge trains with hydrogen propulsion. In addition, Stadler is also manufacturing six FLIRT Akku for the Lithuanian rail operator LTG Link.

Stadler and SBCTA sign contract for first hydrogen-powered train in US; FLIRT H2

The ordered vehicle consists of two cars with a power pack in between. It is the world’s leading manufacturer in the rack-and-pinion rail vehicle industry.

27 Hyundai XCIENT fuel cell trucks entering fleet service in Germany; funding from BMDV

Seven German companies in logistics, manufacturing and retail will put 27 Hyundai XCIENT Fuel Cell trucks into fleet service with funding for eco-friendly commercial vehicles from Germany’s Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV). Leclanché to supply battery storage system for two hybrid-powered ferries

Swiss shipbuilding company Shiptec AG, based in Lucerne, and Siemens Energy SRL, Milan, have selected Leclanché to supply energy storage systems for two new hybrid-powered vessels that will operate on Lake Geneva. The first of the nine ships ordered by Grimaldi is currently undergoing sea trials.
